SAP SE is a market leader for business software and 99% of its customers run SAP's S/4 HANA ERP solution. When an organization runs its entire end to end business process with SAP, its master and transactional data will also be stored in the SAP database. Furthermore, SAP has a diverse application landscape regarding its underlying technology platforms, databases, and data objects. As a result, interacting with data analytic platform implementations such as KNIME might be challenging. This book shows how the KNIME Connector for SAP (KCS extension, developed by DVW Analytics, bridges this gap between the various SAP applications and KNIME, allowing KNIME users to include SAP data in their data blending activities without the need for additional hardware and infrastructure. This book shows how to extract data from SAP Systems into KNIME Analytics Platform, how to write data to SAP Systems, and how to upload KNIME workflows to the KNIME Business Hub.
